Sonia is certified to teach S.A.T.Y.A (Sensory Awareness Training for Yoga Attunement). This is a “yin” style practice. We practice fine articulated movement on the floor in a flowing fashion, synthesizing breath with movement. All movements are done slowly, and are a powerful tonic to reduce fatigue, strain, and tension in the body, and build deep relaxation. This profound physical rest of the body prepares for savasana and yoga nidra (the yogic sleep).
