Join Leith and Michele for a day of cloth and conversation, exploring the tradition of shroud-making.
Shrouds have played an important role in caring for the dead across cultures and times. The washing and dressing/wrapping of the body are often the last acts of love and care given to the one who has died.
You will be guided through the planning and design of a shroud and offered assistance with sewing and hand embroidery. No sewing experience needed.
All are welcome
