Friends of Djerrt Mia Bird Sanctuary Start up meeting

A group of enthusiastic volunteers are starting up a new Friends of Djerrt Mia Group whose aim is to ensure protection of this precious habitat where birds can breed, feed and roost. Together the Friends can create an activity plan for this unique site, help to inform visitors of its value and assist with regular surveys to ensure the area is continuing to thrive and sustain a protected site for our feathered friends.
